The angel is played by Rubius, a Spanish Norwegian streamer who was announced via tweet on March 21, 2023. At the time of the announcement it was not known that he would be playing the angel and The Demon characters.

Physical Description

The angel is a white color, and has no feet or hands. Instead, the skin cuts off in a jagged pattern. The angel's face is that of a bear's, and it wears a golden halo askew to its right side. The angel doesn't walk but instead flies in creative mode, and has white smoke particles around the bottom.

The angel has stated he is not God nor the son of God, but the son of God's son.^{[Citation needed]} However, he has made references to God being his father. It is unknown if this is a metaphor or simply proof that he sometimes lies.
