Madagio is Fit's contractor who sent him with a mission to Quesadilla Island. He first appeared on the QSMP on December 30, 2023.

Physical Description

Madagio has a solid white skin and does not appear to have any discernable features. He is capable of traveling across worlds and Creative Mode flight, is invulnerable to attacks, and has a hacked client typical of 2b2t players. He has a multitude of cats that are an extension of him and serve as his eyes and ears.

Personality

Madagio is practical and cold.

After losing his friends from Vacuus Island, he seems to have stopped forming meaningful connections with others, and he has advised Fit to do the same. It is unclear how much of this advice comes from genuine worry versus pure practicality.

History

Backstory

Madagio lived on Vacuus Island before it was declared inactive. His role during this period is unknown. After the Federation cut off all of the island's resources and left its residents to die, Madagio became resentful of the Federation, and has since been intent on destroying it.

FitMC's Contract

Pre-QSMP: March 1, 2023

• Madagio tracked down Fit in 2b2t. Fit attempted to get Madagio to leave him be and attacked, but Madagio was completely unharmed. Madagio complimented Fit's fortitude in the face of living in such a toxic wasteland, and said that he had been seeking someone with Fit's ability to resist such madness and toxicity. He had detected the remnants of a very powerful signal on 2b2t and came to investigate to find people like Fit.
• Madagio revealed his name and that he used to live on an island that was part of a system, but "things happened." He had since gained the ability to travel across worlds, and was searching for skilled survivalists and deceivers, those who can hide in plain sight in extreme conditions.
• He created a pillar with a book on it, offering Fit an opportunity if he followed the location in the book, then disappeared.

• As Fit arrived at the meeting spot underground, Madagio was waiting with his cats.
• He offered Fit a job at Quesadilla Island, one of the islands in the system, which held many secrets that he wanted. Quesadilla would soon be accepting visitors for the first time in years by train, and Madagio could arrange for Fit to receive a ticket. Under the terms of the contract, Fit would blend in and act like he was on vacation for a year while gathering information (player data, island statistics, emotions, analytical data) for Madagio. Madagio himself would spend that time making preparations for something important elsewhere.
• If Fit was successful, he would be paid well; if not, Madagio may have to help. Madagio warned Fit against making attachments on the island. He also warned that if Fit disregarded or cheated the mission, he would ensure that Fit would wander the wastelands of 2b2t forever and that anyone he made connections with would suffer. He said that if Fit stepped into the end portal and accepted the terms of the contract, there would be no turning back.

Day 281: December 30, 2023

• As Fit woke up from his dream recalling his past, a cat had suddenly appeared in front of his bed, watching him. Madagio was then shown meditating in the center of a four-tower structure.

On March 12, 2024, he teleported Fit to Vacuus Island, showing him what the Federation had done to the place.
