Chayanne was a white, pixelated egg with two black legs sticking out of the bottom of his shell. Originally, his shell was unblemished, like the rest of the eggs. However, after the kidnapping of the eggs by the Federation on April 30, 2023, Chayanne returned with his shell cracked, similarly to the rest of his siblings who were taken at the time.[12] He wears a yellow duck floatie around his middle. According to him, enchanted slime armor matches the color of his eyes.[13] Chayanne was the tallest of the eggs.[Citation needed] On January 10, 2024, his egg model was updated so that the tail of his duck floatie wiggles when he crouch-walks.[14]
He often wore a skull head, which was a gift from his papa Missa on his first birthday (along with the rest of the skeleton armor set, of which Missa has a matching set).[15]
Personality
Chayanne was an active, combative and responsible egg. He had a relentless urge to fight things and throw himself off edges.[16] He was mischiveous, even more so than the more notoriously chaotic of his fathers.[17][18][19] He loved arson and competition, and was always ready to throw himself into dangerous situations.[19][20]
He had a healthy self-image, confident in himself and his abilities, and yet always ready to accept his potential mistakes and improve himself.[21][22][23] Phil has said that he sees a lot of Technoblade in this side of Chayanne.[24]
Chayanne could be incredibly focused when he was busy studying; in social situations, however, he tended to act much like his father Philza — he got easily distracted and often ran off to do his own thing.[25] When he was bored, he started digging holes in the ground, forming a chessboard-like pattern. He tended to type in all lowercase and at one point picked up the Brazilian habit of typing out laughter as "kkkkk".[26]
When it comes to his friends and family, Chayanne was selfless, always putting others before himself and hesitant to bring up his own problems.[27][28] While he may not have wore his heart on his sleeve as much as Missa, he had a huge heart for those he cared about, which he showed more through actions, much like his other father. His protectiveness extended over all of his egg siblings, to the point where he would physically get between whoever he was protecting and the perceived threat.[29][30] He also showed his love by being very doting, and comforting others when they are struggling.
However, Chayanne also struggled with with survivors guilt from not being there to help the now deceased eggs and the pressure that came from how his siblings look up to him as a "natural leader," expecting him to make difficult decisions and know what to do in any given situation.[31][32][33][34][35]
Chayanne was also very defensive of his fathers' marriage. He would usually hit people who flirt with Philza and would even hit Philza when he jokingly flirted back.[36][37][38]
He was strategic.[39] He loved farming potatoes, even going as far as saying that "potatoes are his presentation card".[40] At one point he also picked up a new hobby — cooking.[41] Chayanne tended to have a lot of difficulty waking up, doing so very slowly (much to Phil's and Lullah's annoyance).[42]
He loved axolotls and had quite a few of them as pets.[43] He didsn't like coffee.[44] Chayanne once made a reference to Attack on Titan, implying that he has watched it.[45] He was a big fan of DND and loved Stardew Valley.[46][47]

History

Chayanne was one of the original eggs adopted on Day 13 during the Egg Adoption Event. He was chosen by MissaSinfonia and Philza, who ended up building him a house on top of The Wall (later known as part of Phil & Missa residence). His parents had a healthy relationship and loved their son very much, and Chayanne spent his early life happily enjoying his childhood and the many gifts his parents provided him with.
Soon after Wilbur Soot was forced to leave the island on tour, Philza took in his daughter, Lullah. She and Chayanne instantly became inseparable, with Chayanne protecting her at every turn and Lullah looking up to him like an older brother.
After Chayanne and Lullah were kidnapped along with the other eggs, not long before the Brazilian Arrival, the two moved to a reinforced basement under Chayanne's old house. Lullah soon started to be considered Philza's official child, and, therefore, Chayanne's official sister.
Due to getting lost frequently, Missa was not able to participate in the boy's life as actively as he wished, causing their relationship to grow strained.
At one point, Chayanne and the other eggs' families were threatened, he gathered all the eggs to run away to avoid harm to them. Soon after that they were kidnapped and sent to Egg Island, where they were separated into groups. Chayanne was teamed with Leo. It is unclear how but at some point they were captured by ElQuackity and The Watcher, where they were held during the Purgatory Event.
Later Philza introduced Chayanne to an entity that he knew from before the island, Rose. Chayanne was extremely comforted by the thought of someone watching over his family and took to handing out roses to spread her protection.
Around that time Missa returned briefly, Chayanne made it very clear to him his position as part of the family despite his father's doubts.
Papa. While he spends most of the time with Philza, Chayanne picked up many traits from Missa early on. Missa gave him many of his first items. This includes his first iron sword, his first pieces of armor, which were an iron helmet and a set of “nike/J's/Vans” iron boots.[60][61][62] Missa also introduced him to cooking by teaching him how to make avocado toast, and taught him to water drop, which became part of his morning routine.[63][64]
Missa always encourages Chayanne to protect and help others.[65]
Chayanne cares about Missa a lot and always makes sure to look out for him. He’s said that he will give him bone soup forever.[66]
Philza was the first person to call Chayanne a little warrior.[68]
Not only does Chayanne care about his dad's health and well-being, he also cares about his public image.[69] In response to his father's protectiveness, Chayanne has promised that he will survive no matter what.[70] Chayanne has a very positive relationship with Phil's crows, who often enable him to cause mischief.[71]
Sister. Initially Lullah and Chayanne were introduced to each other as Niece and Uncle due to their adoptive parents relation. He near instantly swore to protect her and they got along well.
This relationship changed when Lullah's father, Wilbur, left her in the care of Philza. They would often sleep in the same room to stave off her loneliness and spent every day together. This eventually grew to them acting as and calling each other siblings. Chayanne felt he was in an older brother position and due to this and Philza's constant reminders, became very protective of Lullah.

During their disappearance they were separated into different Egg Island groups, this resulted in them growing in separate directions. This caused a major fight that briefly had her missing. [...]
Chayanne cares about her deeply. He always remembers to give her gifts.[72] Thanks to their close relationship, he can tell when she wakes up even if he's not there to see it.[73][74]
Godfather. Chayanne often jokes that Tubbo is his egg, doing tasks for him or feeding him happiness cookies.[75][76] He is also very protective of him, especially after Tubbo's first death, with him forcing Tubbo to set up a stasis chamber to make sure he never died again.[77]
Older Brother. They had a friendly sibling rivalry for the short time they knew each other. Chayanne would mock Wilbur frequently and would get the same in return.
Friend. Upon meeting, Chayanne made Gegg prove himself worthy of friendship via waterdrop. They became friends.
Chayanne was a large fan of Gegg during his presidential campaign, collecting his signs and repeating quotes to his dad. He and Lullah talked Philza into letting them keep a Gegg mob as a pet.

While now Techno doesn't have as much of an influence on Chayanne's life as he once did, he still makes sure to pay respects to memorials and the ofrenda at the Dia de Muertos area.
