The binary entities are mysterious creatures that are aggressive towards the islanders and their eggs. They first appeared on the QSMP on April 5, 2023.

Physical Description

The binary entity is a swirl of green numbers forming a human-sized cylinder. As time has gone on, the entity's appearance seemed to degrade, with its shape becoming more crooked and irregular and its color turning more and more yellow.^{[Citation needed]}

History

Day 15: April 5, 2023

• The Binary Entity was first seen on Phil's stream flying by and spawning armored skeletons riding phantoms, presumably to attack Phil for gaining illegal loot (diamond armor and a netherite pickaxe) from an airship dungeon. When Phil fought those off successfully, the Binary Entity shot tipped arrows of Instant Damage at Phil and attempted to fly after him, but hit the ground and bled out, disappearing before Phil could double back to see the body. The Binary Entity's first name was 01101100, which translated from binary to "l".

• Later, it tried to shoot at Phil from the train track bridge, and was mocked for being shit at shooting by Phil. Once Phil was on land, it tried to engage him in a fight using a shield and a netherite sword. At this point, the skin that 01101100 wore was mostly black with green flecks of code, and it was using a humanoid skin model rather than the versions of its skin seen later on. When Phil right clicked on it, the opportunity to name an egg popped up.
• Once Phil reached Fit, 01101100 started firing at both of them from on top of a building. It started with arrows, but then started chucking bombs. Fit threw bombs back at it, and in two hits it got blown up. Its body disappeared before Phil and Fit could reach it.
• It next found Phil and Fit outside of Fit's base, wielding a trident and threatening Ramón. Fit suggested that Phil hand over some of his illegal items to ensure Ramón's safety, and while Phil said that he'd be willing to do that if 01101100 confirmed that's what it wanted, no exchange happened. The Binary Entity threw a trident and disappeared again.
• Then, it appeared outside of Fit's home, and dropped a book. Inside it wrote a set of coordinates: 2530 1893 67. The Binary Entity appeared inside of Fit's home next, but didn't attack, and disappeared soon after for the rest of the day.
