Arin inhabits Luzu's body, thus sharing most of his outward appearance: brown hair covering one eye, a black hoodie, jeans, and black shoes. When Arin is in control, his eyes turn into a bright cyan color.
Personality
Arin cannot talk. He mostly communicates via in-game chat, but can also write with signs and books. Much of his personality is characteristic of his young age as he has only existed since Day One of the server.
Arin is very curious, constantly asking people about everything he sees and hears around him. He finds beauty in the simplest of things, like bees and the vastness of the outside. He is easily frightened by hostile mobs, often fleeing from them even after he learns how to fight. He also has a tendency to be philosophical, often going into long monologues about his existence and the world. He has made it his mission to help people and protect the world. As such, he treats everyone with kindness and is typically polite, even to hostile mobs and the Federation prison guards at first.[Citation needed]
Not knowing much about the world, Arin calls various things by childish names: for example, the outside was called 'the big room', bees were 'dogs that float', and llamas were 'big dogs'.[4][5][6]
However, Arin changed a lot after a realization in his second day at prison. He started to value freedom very strongly after it was taken away from him. In his rebellious state, he became stubborn and dropped the politeness with those preventing his escape.[Citation needed] He also showed his capability to lie and manipulate others for his plans.[Citation needed] Most of all, he was confused and agitated by the islanders' seeming complacency during their imprisonment.[7]

Adoptive Parent. Maximus came off as a stricter parent to Arin — especially in comparison to Foolish — but he taught him about the world and how to fight. Many of the conversations they had early on were alike to Maxo interrogating Arin, as he wanted to learn more about the AI possessing his friend Luzu's body.
Friend. Fit started out a bit rough on Arin, trying to physically knock some sense into him and ending up teaching him what pain was. However, Fit later ended up being the one to teach Arin how to walk.
Adoptive Parent. Foolish is always happy to see Arin and often checked in on him when they were in prison. Foolish is patient with the often-naive Arin, teaching him about various things in the world like the outside, killing, music, and bubbles.
Closest Friend. Arin always stayed by Quackity's side, even switching around the nameplates on their prison cells so that they could be together. Quackity often checked in on Arin and promised to protect him, staying by his side as Arin fell asleep. They always confided in each other; Quackity with his prison map and Arin with his plans to break out.
Attacker. Spreen did not help Arin much when he first came on the server and could barely even move, even knocking him down and pushing him into a hole.
Acquaintance. Arin knew him as the Janitor in prison. The Janitor offered him bread, soap for his bubble blower, and even gave him a hug when he felt tired.
Hunter. A binary entity attacked Arin seemingly unprovoked, possibly because he did not belong in this world. Arin warned Foolish, Bad, and Dapper that the codes are bad. Much later, the binary entity is still out to get Arin, abducting him while he was in prison.
Jailer. At first, Arin was amicable toward the Federation prison guards and blew bubbles with them. Over the course of his prison stay, though, he grew bitter about the Federation taking away his and the islanders' freedom. On his final day in prison, he made constant calls for rebellion against their jailers and even made plans to fight and kill a guard.
